Thank you for 20 years of firefighting service!

Ray Thurston hit a major milestone this year, by reaching 20 years of "full-time" firefighting! He started volunteering in 1999 while in high school and continued on through the summers while attending college, during his competition skiing days, and riding the rodeo circuit. During his time with Grand Fire he has also built his own house, volunteered his time with 4H, helped run and manage his families’ electrical contracting business, and is raising two active girls with his beautiful wife. Volunteers like Ray keep Grand Fire going, and we are indebted to him for his dedication to our organization and the Grand community. Thank you, Ray!
